BGS Begins Three-Year Partnership with FLYYO, the Fastest-Growing Romanian Airline

Baltic Ground Service (BGS), a leading ground handling service company and a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, has begun a new partnership with Romanian carrier FLYYO Airlines. BGS will provide ground handling services for the airline for three years at Vilnius International Airport in Lithuania. Additionally, BGS and FLYYO Airlines have signed a contract for into-plane fueling services at Vilnius and Kaunas International Airports.

The partnership between BGS and the airline marks FLYYO’s entry into the Lithuanian market, with its first flights set to start on May 15 this year. The Romanian carrier will offer two weekly flights from Vilnius International Airport (VNO) to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV).

FLYYO is one of the fastest-growing Romanian airlines, currently offering charter and ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) services, operating a fleet of three Airbus 320 family aircraft, suited to meet a range of aviation needs. The airline is focusing on serving European and Mediterranean markets, with an emphasis on short- and medium-haul routes. Looking to the future, the airline plans to launch scheduled operations in two years, with a start date in 2027.

In February 2025, the airline signed a yearly charter contract with Israeli tour operators, launching flights from Tel Aviv to 26 destinations across Europe, including Kaunas and Vilnius. Collaboration with FLYYO Airlines underscores BGS's commitment to supporting emerging airlines in their expansion and to providing high-quality ground services and fueling solutions.
